New Key Visual and Second PV

January 4 Premiere Confirmed

The official website now fixes January 4, 2027 as the Japanese premiere date, with TOKYO MX, MBS and BS11 among approximately 20 stations carrying the series.

The new visual shifts attention toward Wim and the core members of Nachtlibelle, the powerful party that becomes his new home after his expulsion from Chronos' group.

LiSA Performs “Ecstatic Buffer”

The second PV previews “Ecstatic Buffer,” the anime's opening theme performed by LiSA.

TK of Ling tosite sigure wrote, composed and arranged the song. Its concept directly echoes Wim's story, with LiSA describing the track as a “buff” for people who have yet to realize their own greatest strength.

Abel, Mark and Monica Join the Cast

Three more Nachtlibelle members now have confirmed voice actors. Haruki Ishiya plays Abel, a young shield-unit leader who quickly recognizes Wim's ability.

Atsushi Ono voices veteran warrior Mark, while Yui Ishikawa plays Monica, a mage whose curiosity draws her toward Wim's unusual granting magic.

From Party Chore Worker to Nachtlibelle

Wim is a support mage capable of strengthening different targets, but his former party largely treats him as a non-combat member responsible for support work and miscellaneous tasks.

After defeating a floor boss alone to save his allies, he is expelled by Chronos. Reuniting with childhood friend Heidemarie brings him into Nachtlibelle, where his abilities finally begin receiving the attention they deserve.

Why This Matters

1) The premiere is finally locked

The previous announcement only gave a January 2027 window; the series now has a concrete January 4 launch date.

2) The second PV establishes its musical identity

LiSA and TK connect “Ecstatic Buffer” directly to the story's central idea of buffs and unrealized strength.

3) Nachtlibelle is becoming more fully defined

Abel, Mark and Monica provide a clearer picture of the party surrounding Wim after his expulsion.
