Season 2 takes Inori and Tsukasa through the Central Block Tournament and ultimately secures their place at the All-Japan Novice Championships.

The movie begins from that point. For Inori, it marks her first opportunity to compete directly against Hikaru Kamisaki, the defending champion and the rival she has long been chasing.

The rivalry extends to the coaches. Tsukasa also finally stands opposite Jun Yodaka, the former skater who won every competition he entered—including the Olympics—and now privately coaches Hikaru.

The new special report emphasizes the atmosphere surrounding the performance rather than showing skating alone.

Yasutaka Yamamoto returns as director, with Jukki Hanada writing the screenplay and Chinatsu Kameyama serving as character designer and chief animation director.

Standard MoviTicket cards go on sale at participating Japanese theaters on September 4, 2026 for ¥1,700 each.

Seasons 1 and 2 Return to Japanese TV in October

Both TV seasons will be rebroadcast ahead of the movie.

TOKYO MX begins the rerun on October 1, 2026 at 10:00 PM every Thursday, followed by BS Asahi on October 3 at 2:30 AM Saturday night / 26:30.
