PushForward has opened the Steam page for MillionCube, a 3D maze exploration game built around a straightforward objective on a potentially enormous scale: find one goal room hidden among as many as one million rooms. The store page went live on October 10, 2026 and is now accepting wishlists.

MillionCube can be played alone or online with up to 30 players. Door numbers, written characters and environmental details act as clues to the destination across four stages, ranging from a short introductory maze to a final challenge that the developer estimates could take hours or even days.

One Goal Hidden Among Up to a Million Rooms

MillionCube does not expect players to memorize an entire maze. Each door carries a number or set of characters, while the surrounding scenery provides additional information about the destination.

The closer players move toward the goal, the stronger those signals become. That turns exploration into a process of reading patterns rather than simply choosing doors at random.

Four Stages Scale From 1,000 to One Million Rooms

Backrooms serves as the introduction with 1,000 rooms and an estimated completion time of roughly 10 minutes. Aquarium raises the count to 17,576, while Cyberpunk contains 373,248 rooms with more irregular layouts and door placement.

The largest challenge is Infinite Corridors, a Japanese-architecture maze containing one million rooms and spaces designed to disrupt the player's sense of up, down, left and right.

Cooperate or Race With Up to 30 Players

Online multiplayer supports as many as 30 people. Groups can split up to search more efficiently, cooperate through special items, or simply race to see who reaches the goal first.

Cube, the player avatar, can also be customized, while the lobby and post-goal area include a slot system for players waiting on the rest of the group.

Built With Streamers in Mind

PushForward includes a streamer mode that can hide player names and chat while masking potentially inappropriate room names.

The developer also allows streaming and video creation without prior permission, including monetized content, and does not require a copyright notice in descriptions.

Why This Matters

1) The scale changes dramatically between stages

The game begins with 1,000 rooms before eventually escalating to a million-room final maze.

2) Multiplayer changes how the search can be approached

Thirty players can divide the maze between them or turn the same objective into a race.

3) Its rules are particularly friendly to content creators

Streamer mode and permissive video guidelines make long sessions easier to use for livestreams and edited videos.
