Life Will Change Connects Three Persona Eras
The trailer opens by bringing three different Persona titles into NIKKE rather than treating the franchise as a single visual identity.
Life Will Change, closely associated with Persona 5, drives much of the trailer’s rapid pacing and combat presentation.
Each featured guest receives interface elements reflecting their original game. Aigis is presented with the visual language of Persona 3 Reload, Yukiko with Persona 4 Golden styling, and Queen with Persona 5 Royal’s distinctive red-and-black identity.
That approach gives PERSONA ON FRONTLINE the feeling of a three-game crossover rather than a conventional single-title guest event.
Queen and Yukiko Are Limited SSR Characters
Queen (Makoto Niijima) becomes available as an SSR limited Pick Up character when the collaboration starts following maintenance on August 13.
Her recruitment period continues until September 10 at 4:59 a.m. JST.
Yukiko Amagi receives a separate limited SSR Pick Up beginning on August 20 at 5:00 a.m. JST and ending at the same September 10 deadline.
Once their collaboration recruitment periods conclude, neither is scheduled to enter General Recruitment, Social Point Recruitment, molds, or the Mileage Shop.
The trailer also shows both characters operating within NIKKE’s combat system, combining shooting animations and Burst presentation with visual elements taken from their Persona identities.
Aigis Is Available as a Free SR
Aigis follows a different distribution model and does not require a limited recruitment banner.
She is an SR character obtainable through the 14-day login event and by completing PERSONA ON FRONTLINE content.
Aigis will no longer be obtainable through those methods once the collaboration ends.
Her inclusion also creates a particularly direct thematic connection. Aigis is an Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapon created for battle, while Nikkes are artificial-bodied soldiers created to fight Raptures.
The trailer adapts that mechanical combat background naturally into NIKKE’s firearm-focused battlefield while retaining the Persona 3 Reload presentation around her.
A Café Leblanc-Inspired Area Appears
The collaboration does more than add guest characters.
One event area shown in the PV closely resembles Café Leblanc, one of Persona 5’s most recognizable locations.
Its appearance provides a familiar space within the crossover presentation, although the complete narrative explanation for how the Persona characters reach NIKKE’s world has not yet been fully revealed.
The trailer also contains a retro-styled mini-game built around moving through pathways and maze-like areas.
Its complete reward structure, difficulty progression, and stage layout will become clearer after the update goes live.
Phantom Receives the Saint Thief Costume
NIKKE’s own cast is also involved in the collaboration presentation.
Phantom receives a new costume called Saint Thief, available during the collaboration period from August 13 after maintenance through September 10 at 4:59 a.m. JST.
The choice fits the crossover naturally because Phantom already operates as a masked thief within NIKKE.
Miranda also appears wearing Thief of Justice, a previously released costume that returns to a particularly appropriate setting alongside Persona’s characters.
Together, the costumes strengthen the collaboration’s focus on thieves, investigation, and hidden identities rather than leaving all Persona references with the guest units.
Makoto and Yukiko Receive Additional Outfits
The Persona characters also receive additional costume options.
Makoto’s new outfit is associated with the STHIEF QUEEN PASS, available from August 13 after maintenance until September 10 at 4:59 a.m. JST.
Yukiko’s new costume is tied to the SNOW FLAKES PASS, which becomes available on August 20 at 5:00 a.m. JST and remains open until September 10.
The PV shows these alternate appearances alongside the characters’ standard collaboration designs.
Regional pricing and the full reward track for each pass will be visible in the game when the respective products become available.
PERSONA ON FRONTLINE Runs for Nearly Four Weeks
The main crossover runs from August 13 after maintenance through September 10 at 4:59 a.m. JST.
That window gives players nearly four weeks to experience the story event, obtain Aigis, complete the login campaign, play the mini-game, and collect available rewards.
Queen is recruitable from the first day, while Yukiko’s banner begins one week later.
The PV also includes other NIKKE material surrounding the update, including new main-chapter and boss content. Those additions belong to the broader version update and should not automatically be treated as part of the Persona storyline.
