Overgeared at AFA Singapore 2026
Grid's Voice Actor, Director and Executive Producer Appear Together
The November 28 panel brings three different perspectives on Overgeared. Tatsumaru Tachibana represents Grid's performance, Ayako Kono the anime's direction, and Nobuhiro Osawa the executive production side.
They are set to discuss how the anime was brought to life, while a live script reading will offer fans another way to experience its characters beyond the regular episodes.
Grid's Forge Turns the Crunchyroll Booth Into a Blacksmith Challenge
The main activity at booth J01 draws directly from Grid's defining skill as a blacksmith.
Visitors will tackle a giant puzzle wall to assemble a weapon, then pose with a 3D Grid installation. Those who complete the challenge can receive a Pagma's Rare Book notebook while supplies last.
Panel and Meet-and-Greet Take Place on the Same Day
The guests appear on Saturday, November 28. The panel is scheduled for 13:00–13:45 at the NEXT Stage, followed by a 15:30–16:30 meet and greet in Meeting Room 332.
The meet and greet requires admission, with tickets redeemable from the Crunchyroll booth on a first-come, first-served basis.
Overgeared Will Already Be Airing Before AFA
AFA takes place nearly two months after the Overgeared TV anime began airing in October 2026.
That timing means attendees will already have had time to meet Grid in animated form before hearing directly from the people behind the production. Crunchyroll currently streams the series worldwide outside Japan and Korea.
Why This Matters
1) Fans can meet both Grid's voice and the creative team
Tatsumaru Tachibana appears alongside the director and executive producer rather than as a standalone cast appearance.
2) The booth uses the story's defining mechanic
Grid's Forge turns his blacksmithing skill into a physical puzzle challenge for convention visitors.
3) The event arrives while the anime is actively airing
AFA Singapore 2026 takes place during Overgeared's Fall 2026 run.
