ORIGIN Preserves the Arcade Version

Senjin Aleste ORIGIN is designed for players who want the original APM3 experience retained as closely as possible.

M2 Gadget support provides additional gameplay information, while the arcade-style wallpaper display option also remains available.

BLADE Adds a New Weapon and Character Switching

The biggest new addition is Senjin Aleste BLADE.

Its Blade Missile can wipe out enemies and incoming bullets together, while manual character switching gives players more direct control over the four-character team.

M2 describes BLADE as a faster and more aggressive variation on the original game.

Training, New Music, and Full Voice

Training mode lets players select individual stages and aircraft types, making it easier to practice specific sections.

The console release also offers the original arcade soundtrack, newly produced BLADE music, and arranged BGM. The opening and ending receive additional voice work from Hana Takeda.

Physical and Limited Editions Are Now Available to Preorder

Switch and PS5 receive standard and limited physical editions, while PS4 is digital-only.

First-print copies include the Ratna no Zettai Kouryaku Note strategy booklet. The limited edition adds special packaging, the provisionally titled Senjin Aleste Official Archive, a Special Soundtrack, and further items that have yet to be detailed.

Why This Matters

1) The arcade-only game finally reaches home consoles

Senjin Aleste has operated through APM3 since 2021, making the 2027 version its first official home-console release.

2) BLADE is a substantial new mode

Manual character switching and the Blade Missile directly change the way players approach combat.

3) The arcade version remains intact

ORIGIN means players do not have to choose between a faithful conversion and the redesigned experience.
