TEKKEN 8 Shows New Yujiro Hanma Footage, New Trailer Set for January 17 at TWT2026 Global Finals

TEKKEN 8 has shown another look at Yujiro Hanma, the Baki collaboration fighter joining the game through Season 3. New footage shared by the TEKKEN Project on October 11, 2026 puts a much closer focus on Yujiro's in-game model following his original reveal earlier this year.

The next major reveal now has a date as well. A new Yujiro Hanma trailer will be shown on January 17, 2027, during the final day of the TEKKEN World Tour 2026 Global Finals in Singapore. Yujiro Hanma in TEKKEN 8

New Footage Gives a Closer Look at Yujiro's Model

The new clip primarily serves as another progress look at Yujiro as development moves toward his 2027 launch. Its clearest focus is the in-game character model, from his facial structure and red hair to the exaggerated physique central to his Baki design.

Bandai Namco is not using this clip to break down his complete fighting kit. His attacks, stances, Heat options, Rage Art, and other character-specific systems therefore remain for a later reveal.

New Trailer Arrives January 17 in Singapore

The TEKKEN Project specifically named January 17, 2027 as the date of Yujiro's next trailer.

That is the final day of the TWT2026 Global Finals, held January 14–17 at Marina Bay Sands Singapore alongside Evo Singapore. Day four is devoted to the Final Bracket, placing the Yujiro reveal directly at the conclusion of the Season 3 world championship event.

An exact presentation time has not yet been announced.

Yujiro Is the Final Season 3 Fighter

Yujiro was first revealed at Combo Breaker 2026 as the fourth Season 3 Pass character, following Kunimitsu, Bob, and Roger Jr.

Bandai Namco introduces him as “The Strongest Creature on Earth,” retaining the identity strongly associated with him throughout Baki. His arrival also continues TEKKEN 8's use of major guest characters from outside the franchise.

Gameplay Details and Release Date Remain Under Wraps

The official TEKKEN site currently places Yujiro in early 2027, while Steam narrows the listing to January–March 2027.

An exact launch date, standalone price, complete move list, and confirmation of whether the January 17 trailer will reveal his early-access schedule remain unavailable. Season 3 Pass owners are entitled to five days of early access for upcoming DLC.

Why This Matters

1) Yujiro's in-game model is now much clearer

The October footage provides a closer look at how the Baki character has been translated into TEKKEN 8's visual style.

2) The next reveal is tied to TEKKEN's biggest competitive stage

Bandai Namco is placing the next trailer on the final day of the TWT2026 Global Finals rather than releasing it on an isolated date.

3) His actual gameplay remains the biggest unanswered question

Bandai Namco has yet to fully show how Yujiro's fighting style will interact with TEKKEN 8's Heat System and Rage Art mechanics.
