First Teaser PV and Visual

Aria Rejects the Heroine Role Chosen for Her

Alicia loses her parents when she is young and grows up under harsh conditions in an orphanage. An incident eventually gives her knowledge that the world around her is the setting of an otome game—and that she was supposed to be its heroine.

She does not treat that revelation as a route toward romance or happiness. Alicia rejects the scenario, leaves her previous identity behind, and begins living as the adventurer Aria.

The First Teaser Leans Into Dark Fantasy

The teaser shows Aria surrounded by fire, armed and determined to survive through her own strength.

The visual similarly places her alone with a knife in hand. The first promotional material focuses far more heavily on survival, violence and self-determination than the romantic image usually associated with otome games.

Fuka Izumi Voices Aria

Fuka Izumi is the first cast member announced. She describes Aria as a strong and beautiful girl who chooses an exceptionally harsh path and rarely allows her emotions to show openly.

Animation is being jointly produced by STUDIO CLUTCH and Animation Studio Seven, with Noriyoshi Sasaki directing and Toko Machida handling series composition.

The Original Series Has Passed 900,000 Copies

When the anime project was first announced in January 2025, the franchise had around 400,000 copies in circulation. By October 2026, TO Books reported that cumulative circulation had passed 900,000 copies including digital editions.

The Japanese light novel has reached Volume 11, while Kobato Wakasa's manga adaptation is set to continue with Volume 9 on October 15, 2026.

Why This Matters

1) Its heroine is not a reincarnated outsider

Aria belongs to this world. What changes is her awareness that an otome game scenario was supposed to dictate her life.

2) The otome premise becomes a survival fantasy

Weapons, combat, training and simply staying alive form the foundation of the protagonist's journey.

3) The first anime reveal already contains footage

The teaser uses actual animation rather than limiting the announcement to a static visual.
