Shirayuki Travels to Hinomoto to Find Her Mother's Killer
Shirayuki lost her mother to murder when she was young and eventually joined the military. Years later, an anonymous letter points her toward Hinomoto with information suggesting that the killer can be found there.
Her search takes her to Iris Academy, an institution that trains mana-wielding Agents. Shirayuki has no mana of her own, but she remains capable of keeping pace with her classmates, aided in part by the unusual sword Excalibur.
Yozuru Becomes the Buddy Who Changes Shirayuki's Priorities
At Iris Academy, Shirayuki meets Yozuru Kurobane, heir to a sword-fighting dojo whose problem is almost the opposite of Shirayuki's: she possesses so much mana that she once lost control of it.
The two become Buddies, and their growing connection complicates Shirayuki's original mission. Revenge is no longer her only concern when continuing the hunt could cost her the people she has begun to care about.
Iris and Dahlia Lead to Different Routes
The story's conflict extends beyond the murder mystery. Players are also placed between Iris and Dahlia.
Iris is tied to a system implicated in the oppression of the manaless, while Dahlia is a revolutionary faction willing to use extreme methods in response. Kagura Games says the two routes contain their own scenes and developments.
Turn-Based RPG Systems and ONEONE1 Survivors
Players can explore cities, speak with NPCs, discover optional quests, unlock new abilities, enter dungeons, and fight turn-based battles.
An Easy Mode allows combat to be skipped for players who mainly want the story. The game also includes ONEONE1 Survivors, a bullet-heaven minigame featuring characters from other ONEONE1 titles.
