Assassination Classroom (暗殺教室) is continuing its 10th-anniversary celebrations with the special event Dousoukai no Jikan (同窓会の時間). A new key visual was unveiled on September 5, 2026, presenting the cast as if they were gathering for a school reunion.

Event Key Visual and Announcements

Class 3-E Reunites 10 Years Later

The new key visual makes the reunion theme immediately clear. The members of Class 3-E appear in their 10-years-after-graduation designs, allowing the event to function visually as more than just a voice-cast gathering.

Their adult appearances build on the designs previously featured in Assassination Classroom: Minna no Jikan. Koro-sensei appears above the group wearing a graduation cap, while the former students gather together like attendees at an actual class reunion.

The presentation fits the anniversary concept of looking back at the class's graduation while marking a full decade of the anime.

Koro-sensei, Karasuma, and Irina Get New Artwork

The production team has also prepared additional artwork specifically for Koro-sensei, Tadaomi Karasuma and Irina Jelavic.

Karasuma and Irina receive 10-years-later appearances made for the event visual, while Koro-sensei is shown in a suit. Their inclusion brings both the former students and their teachers together in the same reunion composition.

This means the visual is not simply recycled film artwork. Some of the character designs come from Minna no Jikan, but the three additional characters received newly drawn material for Dousoukai no Jikan.

Two Performances Will Be Held on the Same Day

Dousoukai no Jikan is currently scheduled as a one-day event on October 17, 2026, divided into daytime and evening performances.

The day session opens at 2:00 p.m. and begins at 3:00 p.m. The night session opens at 5:30 p.m. and starts at 6:30 p.m.

The organizers note that the times and performer lineup may change. A final running time for either performance has not been announced.

Ten Voice Cast Members Return for the Reunion

The performer lineup brings back several voices closely associated with the anime. Jun Fukuyama appears as Koro-sensei, joined by Tomokazu Sugita as Karasuma and Shizuka Ito as Irina.

Representing Class 3-E are Mai Fuchigami, Nobuhiko Okamoto, Ryota Osaka, Minami Tanaka, Chie Matsuura, Eiji Miyashita and Megumi Ogata.

The event also features Tomonari Sora, who performed the rebroadcast opening song Kiiro Shingou and the 2026 movie theme Teacher. Ken Washizaki will serve as MC.

The Assassination Classroom anniversary project was initially structured around three major initiatives. The TV anime returned to Japanese television in April 2025, followed by a one-night All Night Nippon GOLD radio broadcast in August 2025.
