Both Main Games Are Being Collected in One Package
Paradise Edition effectively provides a new way to follow Five Hearts Under One Roof from the first game through season2 as a single Nintendo Switch product.
The original game introduces Yuman, who unexpectedly becomes responsible for running a boarding house before five women with very different backgrounds and personalities enter his daily life.
Players experience the story entirely through Yuman's perspective using FMV. Instead of conventional 3D characters or visual-novel illustrations, scenes are performed by real actors and presented through filmed footage.
Season 2 continues that foundation with Yuman once again operating the boarding house. Several characters return from the first entry while three new heroines join the story.
CFK describes Paradise Edition as a collected package containing both games in the series, allowing newcomers to move from the original story directly into its sequel through one product.
The announcement does not currently confirm whether Season 2 expansion content is included, so the only content that can safely be treated as confirmed is the two base games.
Both Games Were Already Available Digitally on Switch
Paradise Edition is not the franchise's first appearance on Nintendo hardware.
Five Hearts Under One Roof launched digitally for Nintendo Switch on February 5, 2026. Nintendo lists a file size of roughly 5 GB, single-system play for one player, and support for TV, tabletop and handheld modes.
Five Hearts Under One Roof season2 followed on March 26, 2026, also as a digital release. Nintendo lists that game at approximately 8.6 GB.

Paradise Edition is different because CFK is handling the newly announced package release. The early-2027 product is therefore better understood as a collected package edition rather than the first Switch port of either game.
Nintendo also lists both existing individual Switch versions as compatible with Nintendo Switch 2. However, Paradise Edition itself has only been announced for Nintendo Switch, with no dedicated Switch 2 version currently listed.
Player Choices Shape the Relationships With Each Heroine
FMV remains the defining format of the series.
Players see events from Yuman's point of view and make decisions during conversations and situations involving the boarding house residents.
Those decisions can change relationship progress, open different routes, lead to specific scenes and ultimately affect the ending.
The first game centers on five heroines: Go Mal-sook, Yuman's longtime childhood friend; Park Min-jung, his first love and an idol; Gran Dong, his workplace superior; Go Eun-bi, a younger woman who is direct about her feelings; and Jo Seung-yi, a recluse who begins opening up after meeting Yuman.
Season 2 keeps Mal-sook, Gran and Min-jung, then adds Yu-na Jeong, the youngest daughter of a wealthy conglomerate family; Yoo-jung Yang, a withdrawn woman carrying scars from her school years; and Gyu-ri Bang, a warm-hearted nurse.
Because Paradise Edition includes both games, its announcement trailer can present Yuman's relationships and the heroines as a longer continuous journey.
TGS 2026 Offers an Early Chance to Play Paradise Edition
Paradise Edition is not merely being announced for 2027; it is already scheduled for a public gaming event.
The title will appear at the Happinet booth in Hall 6 / 06-N04 during Tokyo Game Show 2026, held from September 17 through September 21 at Makuhari Messe.

The Steam release of Season 2 currently has soundtrack, photobook and Winter Trip expansion content, but the Paradise Edition announcement only states that the package combines the first and second games.
