BANDAI has opened reservations for two Kamen Rider ZEZTZ devices: the DX Lady Gauntlet and DX ZEZTZ Phone ver.2. Both entered the Premium Bandai reservation period on August 30, 2026 and are scheduled to begin shipping in February 2027.

The announcement arrived on the same day Kamen Rider ZEZTZ completed its 50-episode television run. Rather than simply reissuing existing props, the Lady Gauntlet includes three Capsems alongside light and sound gimmicks, while ZEZTZ Phone ver.2 significantly expands its voice content and upgrades parts of its physical finish over the original 2025 model.

Two Kamen Rider ZEZTZ Devices Enter Premium Bandai

BANDAI opened reservations for both products on the same day, although their reservation times and closing dates are different.

The Lady Gauntlet is the more expensive of the two at ¥9,350, while ZEZTZ Phone ver.2 remains priced at ¥4,180, matching the original ZEZTZ Phone's suggested retail price when it launched in September 2025.

Both are scheduled to begin shipping in February 2027. Premium Bandai also notes that ordering may close before the listed deadline if the available production allocation is reached.

DX Lady Gauntlet Recreates The Lady's Device

The Lady Gauntlet is not a toy-only device created specifically for this release. In the series it belongs to The Lady, with its first official appearance recorded in Case 24 “Kowareru” on March 1, 2026.

According to the official Kamen Rider encyclopedia, the device can release nightmares sealed inside the Chaos Capsem and related Capsems, allowing Nightmares to be summoned into dreams or reality.

The DX version recreates its distinctive purple-and-black body. Inserting the Chaos Capsem links with the buckle's lock-release mechanism and activates a Nightmare summoning sequence.

That sequence combines capsule deployment, LED illumination, and sound effects. The Phantom Capsem triggers a dedicated attack sound, giving it a different response from the Chaos Capsem.

BANDAI also includes multiple lines spoken by The Lady in the television series, positioning the product as a more complete role-play prop rather than simply a device that reacts to collectible items.

Chaos, Phantom and Code: Somnia Capsems Are Included

The Lady Gauntlet package includes the main device together with three different Capsems.

The Chaos Capsem drives the Nightmare summoning sequence, combining the locking mechanism, capsule movement, illumination and sound.

The Phantom Capsem receives a different response through its dedicated attack sound rather than simply repeating the Chaos sequence.

The Code: Somnia Capsem, meanwhile, uses a newly designed internal structure. BANDAI says its construction was developed to more closely reproduce the appearance seen in the series.

The Lady Gauntlet itself measures approximately 130 mm high, 140 mm wide and 65 mm deep and uses three AAA batteries. All three Capsems are included in the ¥9,350 package.

ZEZTZ Phone ver.2 Jumps From 25 to More Than 50 Voice Lines

The main upgrades to DX ZEZTZ Phone ver.2 center on audio content and presentation.

The original model released in September 2025 advertised more than 25 character voices, while ver.2 increases the total to more than 50 types.

Messages can be received from Baku, played by Ryutaro Imai, Nemu, played by Maho Horiguchi, and Zero, voiced by Jiei Kabira.

Capsem explanation audio has also been updated. Where the earlier model primarily used Zero for Capsem commentary, ver.2 adds explanations from Baku and Nemu.

The physical presentation also changes. Some elements previously handled through stickers have been replaced with high-color printed paint, with BANDAI aiming for a more screen-accurate finish.

Not everything changes. Legend Rider Capsems retain the same audio responses as the original DX ZEZTZ Phone, while the device volume is intentionally kept low for safety when children hold it against their ears.

The Two Products Have Different Reservation Deadlines

DX Lady Gauntlet reservations opened on August 30 at 4:00 PM JST and are scheduled to close on November 15 at 11:00 PM JST.

ZEZTZ Phone ver.2 opened earlier that day at 9:30 AM JST, but its reservation period is shorter and is currently scheduled to end on October 11 at 11:00 PM JST.

Both share the same planned February 2027 shipping window.

The ¥9,350 and ¥4,180 prices include Japanese consumption tax but exclude shipping and handling. BANDAI also notes that the products may be sold through other routes and could potentially be offered outside Japan, although no specific international regions or dates were announced.
