SILENT HILL f Gets New Manga Starring Fox Mask's Kotoyuki, Set for Late 2026 in Weekly Famitsu

SILENT HILL f is expanding with another manga adaptation built around a very different perspective. Rather than Hinako Shimizu, the protagonist will be Kotoyuki Tsuneki (常喜寿幸), the character Famitsu directly identifies as the man behind Fox Mask.

This Is Separate From the Existing Young Ace UP Adaptation

The newly announced project needs to be distinguished from the SILENT HILL f manga that has already been running on Young Ace UP since April 22, 2026.

That adaptation is drawn by Ame Gokin and follows Hinako Shimizu's story. It also has a particularly notable hook: Ryukishi07 prepared a new ending that does not correspond to the endings found in the game.

The upcoming Weekly Famitsu project is not simply that series moving to another publication.

More context surrounding the character only emerges as players dig further into SILENT HILL f's story.

Making Kotoyuki the protagonist now creates an opportunity to depict events from a perspective Hinako never had, particularly because the manga explicitly reaches back into his childhood.

Part One Covers His Childhood Through Becoming Fox Mask

The new manga is confirmed to use a two-part structure.

The clearest information currently concerns the first half. Famitsu states that it will follow Kotoyuki from childhood through the circumstances that lead him to become Fox Mask.

Ryukishi07 wrote the original game's story and is already involved with the Young Ace UP adaptation, for which he created a manga-exclusive new ending.

The Kotoyuki project uses a different arrangement. The announcement does not say that Ryukishi07 is personally scripting every page, but it explicitly places the scenario under his and KONAMI's complete supervision.
