Trailer, Key Visual, and Film Stills

A New Record After One Month in Theaters

The film's strong theatrical run was visible from opening weekend. Its first three days produced roughly 357,000 admissions and ¥440 million, while the official September 27 event report listed 684,358 admissions and ¥848,409,470 through September 26.

By October 18, the film had moved beyond ¥1.24 billion, overtaking the previous standalone Precure movie record held by the 2024 Wonderful Precure! film.

The distinction applies specifically to standalone Precure films rather than every crossover format produced across the wider franchise.

New Fairy Stills and Cast Comments

The box-office celebration also brought four new stills featuring Pochitan, Chouchoutan, Mashutan, and Jet-senpai.

Emiri Kato, Karin Isobe, Hina Yomiya, and Yuki Kaji contributed new comments reflecting on the audience response, the emotional side of the story, and its message about continuing to move forward.

“First Step” Receives a New Lyric Video

The insert song “First Step” has also received a lyric video using scenes from the movie, including moments involving Karin, Alan, Rain, and the Precure team.

The song is performed by Ami Ishii, with lyrics by Shoko Omori and composition and arrangement by Misaki Mase.

The film's ending theme is “FIRST PRISM,” performed by Yuka Masui and Chihaya Yoshitake. Both songs were released on the film's theme-song single on September 16.

The Theatrical Campaign Is Still Continuing

The movie's run is not over. A sixth admission gift, the Detective Special Card featuring new artwork by Futago Kamikita, will be distributed from October 23 through October 29 while supplies last.

A staff-talk cheer screening is also scheduled for October 29 at Shinjuku Wald 9 with director Hanako Ueda, Toei Animation producer Mao Nakagawa, and ABC Animation producer Kanako Tada.

Why This Matters

1) Standalone Precure has a new box-office leader

Crossing ¥1.24 billion gives the Star Detective Precure! film the franchise's new standalone record.

2) Its opening momentum carried through the first month

The film began with ¥440 million in three days and continued climbing until it passed the previous record.

3) Its theatrical campaign remains active

New admission bonuses and an additional cheer screening continue after the box-office milestone.
