The game places the player alongside Mitsuki Nanami, a childhood friend who had been out of contact with the protagonist for years. Their summer trip turns into a fight for survival when a major storm leaves the pair stranded on a remote island.

Saikey Studios first introduced Stranded with You for wishlisting in December 2025. The publisher established its survival premise with Mitsuki at the time, but did not provide a full-game release date.
The September 5 update now confirms September 25, 2026, with Saikey Studios specifically labeling its announcement with the UTC-3 timezone. Steam has also been updated to display the same release date.

A Trip With Mitsuki Turns Into Survival
The story begins when the protagonist reconnects with childhood friend Mitsuki Nanami after the two have gone years without staying in touch.
Mitsuki invites the protagonist on a summer vacation trip, but their ship is struck by a severe storm and the two end up stranded on an island.
From there, the priority becomes survival: finding food and water, learning the island's layout, securing materials and gathering enough resources to eventually return home.
Exploration and Crafting Form the Main Loop
Steam lists a range of activities around the island, including fishing, hunting, cutting wood, mining and completing tasks to obtain materials.
Those resources feed into crafting, allowing players to produce new items and tools while discovering additional recipes through progression.
