Daisy Cannot Fight Back

The core of Terminus: Day Zero comes from its protagonist's limitations. Daisy is neither a soldier nor a survivor who already understands how the outbreak works.

When the dead enter her home, she has to find hiding places, stay quiet, shut doors and move before she is discovered. Once the house is no longer safe, her familiarity with the surrounding yards and fences becomes her main advantage.

The Outbreak Through a Child's Eyes

Where Terminus: Zombie Survivors takes place in a world whose survivors have already learned what happened, Day Zero returns to the moment when everything is still confusing.

The figures around Daisy were once neighbors or familiar faces she passed on her way to school. That perspective gives the outbreak a more personal scale than a conventional combat-focused zombie scenario.

No Previous Terminus Game Is Required

Although it shares the same world, Terminus: Day Zero is designed as a self-contained story.

New players can follow Daisy without prior knowledge of Terminus: Zombie Survivors, while returning players get a look at a much earlier stage of the outbreak.

Why This Matters

1) The protagonist genuinely cannot fight

Survival depends on hiding, space, doors and Daisy's knowledge of her surroundings rather than weapons.

2) It explores the outbreak's first day

Players experience a world in which people still do not understand what is happening.

3) It is free and standalone

No previous Terminus game is required to follow Daisy's story.
