Caladrius Returns after Thirteen Years
The original Caladrius launched for Xbox 360 on April 25, 2013. It later received the arcade release Caladrius AC and an expanded edition titled Caladrius Blaze.
Caladrius Blaze added characters, scenarios, modes, and other improvements before reaching PlayStation platforms, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Caladrius2/Dark Element is the first completely new series entry in approximately 13 years. MOSS is not presenting it as a remaster, remake, or port of Caladrius Blaze.
The sequel retains the dark gothic identity and vertically scrolling battles filled with projectiles, while introducing character work from a new group of illustrators.

The teaser includes mechanical environments, ruins, brightly colored energy, laser attacks, and battles against large units.
Its key art features a green-haired woman wearing dark clothing with a blue crystal ornament. Her name, background, role, and illustrator have not yet been revealed.

Caladrius2/Dark Element uses the phrase “被弾の美学、ここに極まる。”, roughly describing the beauty of being hit reaching its ultimate form.
The teaser and CERO D rating indicate that damage-based character presentation remains part of the game’s identity. However, MOSS has not formally used the Shame Break name or explained how an equivalent mechanic works.
