Aniimo takes place across the continent of Idyll, an open world populated by creatures with different abilities, behaviors, and evolutionary possibilities.
Players capture Aniimo using Aniipods, traps, and carefully timed approaches.
Many creatures can evolve into branching forms influenced by environment, weather, natural phenomena, development methods, and progression choices.
The game’s signature mechanic is Twine.
Rather than simply ordering a creature to fight, Pathfinders can connect with Aniimo and use their bodies and abilities directly.
Different forms can open new ways to fly, swim, burrow, solve environmental puzzles, explore inaccessible areas, or fight enemies.

Idyll is built around unrestricted exploration and online interaction.

Players also own an RV for traveling between campsites.
