Crossbones Isle Brings One Piece Locations to Fortnite
The upcoming season introduces Crossbones Isle, a new Battle Royale island designed for 80-player matches. The map focuses on ocean adventures and treasure hunting, including several recognizable One Piece locations.
Epic Games confirmed the inclusion of Arlong Park and Windmill Village. Players can also launch themselves across the island using cannons, providing another way to move between locations during matches.
Beyond exploring the island, players will search for hidden treasures, including the mystery surrounding Captain X's enormous chest.
Luffy, Ace, Zoro, and Usopp Inspire New Abilities
The One Piece collaboration goes beyond character appearances. Epic Games is introducing abilities and equipment inspired by members and allies of the Straw Hat Pirates.
Players can use Luffy's Gum-Gum Fruit, Ace's Flame-Flame Fruit, Zoro's Three Sword Style, and Usopp's Slingshot. These abilities form part of the equipment available across the island.
Their inclusion allows players to experience recognizable One Piece fighting styles during Fortnite matches rather than simply wearing anime-themed outfits.
Ace and Robin Join the Battle Pass
Portgas D. Ace and Nico Robin are the two One Piece characters confirmed for the upcoming Battle Pass.
The pass also includes anime-inspired appearances for Jonesy, Cuddle Team Leader, and Charlotte. Players who gift a Battle Pass to a friend will receive a bonus Dark Kawaii Team Leader Outfit style.
Meanwhile, Luffy, Nami, and Usopp arrive in the Item Shop at the season's launch on November 1. Zoro, Sanji, and the Chopper Sidekick follow on November 7, with Buggy scheduled for November 13.
Hatsune Miku and More Musicians Join the Season
Alongside One Piece, Treasure Hunters features collaborations with musicians and virtual performers.
A$AP Rocky is among the first guest captains. Players can board his $.$. Rocky ship, challenge him, and potentially obtain the Shock Rocket weapon.
Additional guests will arrive throughout November. Lil Uzi Vert is scheduled for the Item Shop on November 12, while Kasane Teto and Captain Hatsune Miku follow on November 14.
Each captain brings a crew and takes over a particular map location, meaning the season's changes extend beyond new cosmetic items.
Captain's Days and the December 5 Finale
Epic Games is introducing Captain's Days, special periods when new weapons, Sprites, and other equipment appear across the map.
The first Captain's Day begins alongside the season on November 1 at 9 AM ET, with additional dates scheduled for November 7, 12, 14, and 21.
Other activities include Mastery Mondays and Treasure Hours Sundays, which change starting equipment and increase certain item drops.
The season will culminate in a Chapter 7 end event on December 5, 2026. Epic Games has not yet revealed every surprise planned for the finale.
Why This Matters
1) One Piece changes gameplay, not just cosmetics
Luffy's and Zoro's abilities, alongside locations such as Arlong Park, make the collaboration part of the Battle Royale experience.
2) New captains keep the island changing
Weekly guest arrivals give players new reasons to revisit Crossbones Isle and explore different locations.
3) The season builds toward a major event
Captain X's mystery and the December 5 finale create a broader narrative beyond the usual Battle Pass rotation.
