Isshiki-san Wants to Know About Love Main PV
Enako Performs Opening Theme “剛よく恋を制す！？”
The anime's opening theme, “剛よく恋を制す！？”, will be performed by Enako, with lyrics, composition, and arrangement handled by Yashikin.
A preview of the song is featured in the main PV. Its energetic pop sound reflects Rinna's struggle as a disciplined police inspector encountering unfamiliar romantic feelings.
The announcement was a major highlight of Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Festival 2026, where Enako appeared to introduce her involvement in the anime.
Enako Also Voices Nene Hashita
In addition to performing the opening song, Enako has been cast as Nene Hashita, a contract nurse working in the police department's medical room.
Nene is described as a gentle, easygoing woman. She is secretly one of the most popular people in the department, yet effortlessly avoids romantic advances.
Her private life remains mysterious, although she is known to be close friends with Rena Yamakawa.
Main PV Introduces Supporting Character Voices
The new trailer also features the voices of four supporting characters whose casting was previously announced on September 24.
They include Danjuro Iwata, voiced by Haruki Ishiya; Masato Nakatani, voiced by Takuma Nagatsuka; Chikai Matsumoto, voiced by Hiiro Ishibashi; and Rena Yamakawa, voiced by Yu Wakui.
All four are connected to Rinna's workplace. Their presence broadens the story beyond the central romance, adding the everyday relationships and interactions of the police department.
Episodes 1 and 2 Receive December 13 Advance Screening
The production committee has announced an advance screening of episodes 1 and 2 on December 13, 2026, at Ikebukuro HUMAX Cinemas.
The screening begins at 1:55 PM and will be followed by a talk event featuring Riko Akechi, Shuichiro Umeda, and Enako.
Tickets cost ¥3,000. Advance lottery applications are open from October 31 through November 23, with results scheduled for November 24.
Signed Cheki Giveaway and Postcard Distribution
To celebrate the announcement, the anime's official account is holding a giveaway featuring signed cheki photographs of Enako cosplaying as Rinna Isshiki.
Five winners will be selected from eligible participants who follow the official account and repost the designated campaign post. Entries close at 11:59 PM JST on November 14, 2026.
Visitors to Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Festival can also see life-size character panels and receive postcards during the event, which continues through November 1.
Why This Matters
1) Enako has two roles in the production
Her participation as both opening theme performer and Nene's voice actress makes this announcement more substantial than a standard trailer release.
2) The PV expands the cast's on-screen presence
The first voice previews for four supporting characters offer a clearer sense of Rinna and Meishi's workplace dynamics.
3) Fans can watch two episodes before January
The December screening gives selected attendees an opportunity to experience the opening chapters ahead of the television premiere.
