TGS 2026 and Juliet Is Back

Four Demo Stations Offer the First Public Hands-On
The main attraction will be four playable stations dedicated to LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW NEW PROJECT. NADA describes the TGS appearance as the world-first public reveal and hands-on opportunity for the brand-new game.
The demo will be located in the Sega Partners Corner inside the Sega/Atlus booth. Sega had already listed LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW NEW PROJECT among its TGS partner titles, while leaving both its release date and platforms marked as undecided.
The event will therefore provide the first direct look at how the new project carries the series' gameplay and identity forward after Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP.
Demo Players Receive an Original Keychain
Two novelty items will be distributed during the event. Everyone who plays the new-game demo can receive an original keychain, while visitors to the booth can request a logo sticker from nearby staff.
Both items are available only while supplies last. The announcement does not state whether either design will later be sold separately outside TGS.
That makes the playable build only one part of the project's booth presence, with exclusive event merchandise also tied directly to the NEW PROJECT showcase.
PeachMilky Returns as Juliet in a New Outfit
PeachMilky returns as the official ambassador after previously working with Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP. At TGS 2026, she will appear as Juliet wearing an outfit from the new game.
The booth's photo spot is designed to recreate part of the NEW PROJECT world. Its standout prop is a life-size electric chainsaw weighing approximately 7 kg.
LED lighting makes the chain appear to rotate, while an engine sound system and responsive throttle change the intensity of the revving audio. Visitors can use the display for photos whenever it is available.
Two Talk Shows Are Scheduled for September 18 and 19
LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW NEW PROJECT will also receive two stage programs during TGS.
The first begins on September 18 at 11:40 a.m. JST on the Sega/Atlus Event Stage and runs for approximately 30 minutes. The second begins on September 19 at 9:40 a.m. JST on the TGS 2026 Main Stage and is scheduled for roughly 50 minutes.
PeachMilky will appear alongside producers and members of the development team. The programs will introduce the new game and discuss development stories, while further program details remain scheduled for a later announcement.
JP UNIVERSE Develops the Game, Sega Handles Regional Distribution
The roles behind the project are now becoming clearer. NADA HOLDINGS is listed as organizer, while DRAGAMI GAMES provides the license and is advancing the project through its partnership with NADA.
Development is handled by JP UNIVERSE, the company founded by Hajime Tabata in 2022. When the project was first announced in 2025, its creators said they intended to preserve the spirit of the original while involving personnel familiar with the previous game and considering fan feedback.
Sega, meanwhile, serves as the new game's distribution partner in Japan and selected Southeast Asian markets. A complete global publishing or distribution structure has not yet been announced.
Platforms and Release Date Remain Under Wraps
The brand-new game was first announced in July 2025 alongside plans for a Lollipop Chainsaw anime adaptation. From the beginning, the companies described it as a brand-new game, rather than another version of RePOP.
Even with a public playable build now prepared, its final identity remains undisclosed. Sega continues to use the working title LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW NEW PROJECT, with both platforms and release date listed as TBA.
Pricing, age rating, supported languages, gameplay modes and complete global distribution details also remain unannounced as of the September 3 update.
Why This Matters
1) This is the first public gameplay opportunity for the new title
TGS 2026 is not limited to a teaser or presentation; four demo stations will let attendees actually play it.
2) Juliet is receiving a new look
PeachMilky's appearance as Juliet in the new-game outfit offers an early look at the project's updated character direction.
3) The development structure is now clearer
JP UNIVERSE is developing the game, while NADA and DRAGAMI oversee the project and Sega handles distribution in selected regions.
4) Major details can still be revealed at TGS
Platforms, release timing, the final title and several gameplay details remain unknown ahead of the two scheduled talk shows.
