Steam Becomes Lost Sword's Next Platform

The latest announcement invites Swordbringers to visit the new store page and add Lost Sword to their wishlist.

Steam will also serve as another official channel for news and game updates. Wemade Connect has not attached a launch date to the announcement and explicitly says the schedule will be revealed separately once it is finalized.

For now, the storefront opening should therefore be viewed as a step toward the Steam release rather than the PC release itself.

Lost Sword Already Has More Than a Year of Global Service Behind It

Lost Sword is not a brand-new game overall. Its Korean service began in January 2025, followed by the global mobile launch on July 10, 2025 after more than one million pre-registrations.

Wemade Connect marked the global version's first anniversary in July 2026 with a major update, Flame · Kay, and a campaign offering hundreds of free summons.

The Steam version now extends a game that has already spent more than a year building its global mobile community.

Excalibur Sits at the Center of Its Britannian Story

The story begins with the legendary Holy Sword Excalibur, a fairy-forged relic prophesied to return and support the true king when the Red Dragon's blessing fades.

After Uther Pendragon falls to the False King Vortigern, Britannia enters a struggle for succession. Elizabeth Pendragon sets out to find Excalibur and subsequently disappears.

Ethan, a young man transported into this world, becomes caught up in the search alongside Morgana, Elizabeth, Bedivere, and the wider cast.

Side-Scrolling Combat Is Coming to Steam

Lost Sword uses 2D side-scrolling real-time battles built around developing and arranging a party of collectible characters.

Its broader structure includes dungeons, raids, PvE progression, and competitive modes, supported by detailed 2D anime artwork and animated skill sequences designed to resemble anime scenes.

Steam metadata also lists single-player, PvP, and Cross-Platform Multiplayer, although Wemade Connect has not yet explained how account linking, cross-save, or mobile progression will function with the PC version.

Six Languages Are Already Listed

The Steam listing currently supports English, German, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Thai, and Korean.

English and Korean are marked for full audio, while Japanese includes interface text and subtitles. Indonesian is not currently listed.

Steam also classifies Lost Sword as Free to Play with in-app purchases. Any platform-specific changes to monetization or content have not yet been detailed.

Why This Matters

1) Lost Sword is finally getting an official Steam client

The global release has previously centered on Android and iOS. Steam gives PC players an official route to the game rather than relying on a mobile emulator.

2) The PC expansion comes after a year of global service

The Steam edition is arriving after Lost Sword has already received more than a year of global updates, rather than starting from the mobile game's original launch state.

3) Cross-platform multiplayer is already listed

Steam metadata includes Cross-Platform Multiplayer, although Wemade Connect still needs to clarify account, server, and progression compatibility.
