Tesfia, the Teaser PV, and the World of The Greatest Magicmaster's Retirement Plan

Tesfia Wields an AWR Passed Down Through the Fable Family

The second character key visual shows Tesfia ready for combat while channeling magical power into a sword-shaped AWR inherited through the Fable family.

She is an ice Magicmaster and one of the institute's stronger first-year students. Despite her noble background, Tesfia continues training under Alus alongside her close friend Alice.

Eri Yukimura Voices Tesfia

Eri Yukimura has officially joined the anime as Tesfia. Yukimura describes her as a strong-willed girl who never avoids hard work when trying to improve, although her tendency to charge straight ahead can sometimes leave her spinning her wheels.

The currently confirmed central cast now includes Yusho Kamimura as Alus Reigin, Yui Ogura as Loki Leevahl, and Eri Yukimura as Tesfia Fable.

Alus Leaves the Battlefield for the Magic Institute

The story follows Alus, the active No. 1 Magicmaster who has spent much of his childhood fighting monsters on humanity's front lines.

At 16, he asks to retire from military service. His country refuses to simply lose its strongest asset, so the peaceful life Alus wants comes with a condition: attend the institute under a hidden identity and help train the next generation of Magicmasters.

Why This Matters

1) Tesfia receives her first major anime spotlight

The new visual gives a clearer look at both her fighting style and the AWR that defines her combat.

2) The core cast continues to expand

Eri Yukimura joins Yusho Kamimura and Yui Ogura, who previously joined as Alus and Loki.

3) Many anime details remain open

A precise premiere date, additional cast, theme songs, episode count, and streaming distribution have yet to be announced.
