The Hologram Opens When Players Raise Their Wrist
Pulse Watch detects when players raise their wrist toward their eyes, similar to checking a real watch.
The movement opens a holographic interface displaying local time, the date, radar information, and several interactive controls. Lowering the hand automatically closes the display.
Desktop players can enable Keep Open to keep the hologram visible without maintaining the wrist gesture.
When installed through Modular Avatar, the watch automatically adjusts its position and size to fit a humanoid avatar's forearm during the build process.
A 14-Meter Radar and Environmental Scan Wave
One of Pulse Watch's main features is a radar that displays nearby players within 14 meters of the avatar.
It uses a grid divided into 12 directions and five distance levels. The interface indicates occupied areas, although the radar information remains visible only to the wearer.
Opening the hologram also triggers a scan wave that travels across nearby floors, walls, and players using a depth-light effect.
This gives the device the appearance of a futuristic scanner while allowing users to access information without repeatedly opening VRChat's standard menus.
Waypoints, Flashlight, and Avatar Information
Pulse Watch includes a waypoint button operated with the index finger of the opposite hand.
Activating it produces a laser. Players can then use the trigger to place markers on floors, walls, or ceilings. These markers can be configured as private or visible to other players.
A separate button activates a flashlight directed along the user's viewing direction.
