English Dub, Main PV, and Key Visual

CottonTailVA Takes On Kaede Kiryuin

Ascendent Animation directly introduced CottonTailVA as the English dub voice actor for Kaede Kiryuin.

The same announcement points viewers toward OceanVeil, where the English version is currently available. Ayumi Sara performs Kaede in the original Japanese cast.

Kaede Is One of the Anime's Main Yokai Characters

Kaede is part of the supernatural cast surrounding Satoru and Mifuyu.

The anime's official Japanese website lists her alongside the main characters, with Ayumi Sara providing her Japanese voice and CottonTailVA now representing the character in English.

OceanVeil Hosts the English Dub

OceanVeil currently lists the series under the English title The Lonely Snow Widow and the Cursed Ring, including a dedicated dubbed version.

Ascendent Animation has an established partnership with OceanVeil for English-language anime productions, placing this casting announcement within that continuing localization effort.

The Anime Is Still Airing in Fall 2026

The Japanese television version began on BS11 on October 4 and Tokyo MX on October 6, with AnimeFesta handling domestic streaming.

studio HōKIBOSHI produces the animation under director Kazuomi Koga. Official home-video information confirms eight episodes for the television version.

Why This Matters

1) Kaede now has a dedicated English voice

CottonTailVA becomes Kaede's English-language voice counterpart to Ayumi Sara in Japanese.

2) OceanVeil continues expanding niche English dubs

The service continues working with Ascendent Animation on localized versions of anime that previously had limited English availability.

3) The casting arrives while the show is still airing

The announcement lands during the anime's fall 2026 run rather than after the Japanese release has concluded.
